Oh Christmas Tree...

Well, we didn't manage to do any glittery sticking but we did put our Christmas tree up. The excitement was almost too much for Seth to bear as mummy was sooooooo slow putting the lights and tinsel on and he was desperate to hang his bauble and snowman and Father Christmas and penguin...No, our Christmas tree is not stylish and minimal in any way. In fact, it looks as though someone sneezed a whole load of sparkly decorations in its general direction and left them where they stuck. I love it.

Sparkly stuff

Oh I'm so excited! I've just been to buy card and glitter so we can make sparkly things tomorrow (I'm imagining strings of beautiful different sized stars dangling from each window, Seth may have other plans). We might even get our Christmas tree! Is it too soon? Will it have died/been eaten by Lola before Christmas eve?

IT speak

There are a couple of IT people across the way from me in our open plan office and for the past hour they have been talking about 'nuking' someone's blackberry. They must have said 'nuke it' approximately 350 times each. I think they like the way it sounds. I think it makes them feel like military generals rather than IT geeks. They have now successfully nuked the blackberry so perhaps that will be the end of it.

Spooky spoon

We were quite happily watching Numberjacks on cbeebies on Saturday afternoon when Spooky Spoon made a sudden appearance. Seth turned off the tv in tears and ran into my arms, shaking like a leaf, and cried inconsolably for about 5 minutes. For the rest of the day if I so much as walked past the tv, his little face crumpled and he said "we're not watching cbeebies now mummy, not now". That Spooky Spoon is going to be in big trouble - cbeebies is the only way to get any jobs done in our house!

The Tummy Bunny

How do you get a 28 month old to eat his carrots? Tell him he's got a hungry tummy bunny that needs feeding.
