Spooky spoon
We were quite happily watching Numberjacks on cbeebies on Saturday afternoon when Spooky Spoon made a sudden appearance. Seth turned off the tv in tears and ran into my arms, shaking like a leaf, and cried inconsolably for about 5 minutes. For the rest of the day if I so much as walked past the tv, his little face crumpled and he said "we're not watching cbeebies now mummy, not now". That Spooky Spoon is going to be in big trouble - cbeebies is the only way to get any jobs done in our house!

The Tummy Bunny
How do you get a 28 month old to eat his carrots? Tell him he's got a hungry tummy bunny that needs feeding.

Satsuma
I'm behind the enquiry desk eating a satsuma. It smells of Christmas. I love the word satsuma but I don't like how you never know whether it's going to be a nice one until you eat the first piece. I like things to be predictable, I like to know what I'm getting. I think I must be far too much of a nice library lady if satsumas are too unpredictable and exciting for me...
